As the first in his family to graduate from college, Kern has learned what it takes to succeed in this world. What makes Kern a successful agent are his attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. With over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, Kern brings a distinctive edge in identifying risk and implementing solutions for his client’s needs. It is his practical business experience coupled with his vast knowledge of the insurance industry that allows him to map out individual plans that meet the specific needs of his clients.
In 2004, Kern became a partner with The Norton Agency. He is committed to continuing the traditions of the Norton family by putting the customer first and working hard to build a trusted relationship with his customers.
Kern’s educational achievements include a BBA degree from the University of Georgia where he majored in Risk Management and Insurance. He also has achieved the insurance designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. He is currently pursuing the insurance designation of Certified Risk Manager and should obtain that goal this year.
As a lifetime resident of Habersham County, Georgia, Kern continues his active involvement in the community. Along with his wife and three children, Kern works everyday to make his community a better place to live. It is his goal to build upon The Norton Agency’s legacy and continue in the heritage of adding value to every transaction.
